Sterilox Endoscopy is the only totally safe-to-use disinfectant that is a sporicide, mycobacteriocide, virucide, tuberculocide and fungicide. It's a single-use solution and is disposed of after each cycle, dramatically reducing the risk of cross contamination.
Sterilox is not a protein fixative, which further reduces the risk of cross contamination from vCJD prions. In addition, the Sterilox system produces bacteria-free water, thereby preventing the recontamination of endoscopes by water-borne pathogens during the final rinsing stage of the decontamination cycle.
Independent laboratories conducted acute oral toxicity, skin sensitization, eye irritation, skin irritation and bacterial mutagenicity tests to international standards. The test results concluded that there are no known health risks associated with its intended use. Click here to request test results.
Sterilox requires absolutely no disposal precautions.
