SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to work in our Malvern, PA headquarters. The Engineer will be responsible for the software and electrical development of our electromechanical systems, for both sustaining engineering and product enhancement/development. Main Responsibilities:


  • Develop, sustain and enhance the electrical hardware and software of PuriCore’s systems, including managing third party developers.
  • Activities to include: generate architecture and design documents; develop coding, design electrical circuits; and complete verification and validation documentation.
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical control oriented system performance issues.
  • Provide on-going technical support to field-based service team members in troubleshooting and diagnostics.
  • Collaborate with marketing/sales regarding customer requirements to ensure system functionality and user interface is optimal.
  • Ensure all testing protocols for controls and other electrical components are executed and results are satisfactory.

Key Qualifications:


  • B.S. in electrical engineering, electromechanical engineering or related engineering field.
  • 8-10 years experience with embedded hardware and software controls including: requirements definition, system design, programming, user interface design, validation testing, diagnostics and implementation.
  • Experience in developing software in a formal, structured environment.
  • Experience managing third party vendors.
  • Experience with analog circuits, sensors, electromechanical devices and digital circuits using embedded processors.
  • Software proficiency in C, C++
  • Experience with Visual Basic and LabView a plus.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite (word, excel, outlook).
  • Collaborative, team approach, action oriented and focus on problem resolution.
  • Ability to manage projects, track progress and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in life sciences industry, specifically with medical devices and FDA requirements, strongly preferred.
