Leadership

PuriCore is led by an experienced, dedicated team in the U.S. and U.K. This leadership team brings many years of experience in a variety of fields including medical devices, food equipment, hospitality, and the dental industry. The PuriCore management team is supported by a talented group of employees in numerous functions including sales, marketing, microbiology, chemistry, operations, engineering, quality, regulatory affairs, finance, and administration. The entire PuriCore team shares a passion for our technology and Core Purpose and will continue to contribute to the evolution and commercial success of PuriCore.

Christopher Paul James Wightman
Executive Chairman
Mr Wightman, 51, joined PuriCore in 1998 as a Non-Executive Director and was appointed Non-Executive Chairman in 2002 and Executive Chairman in June 2010. Mr Wightman is Chairman or Director of several UK companies: ASI Solutions plc, Clickstream Technologies plc, and Investec Structured Products Calculus VCT plc and is a partner in Mount Row Capital LLP. He spent 14 years in the investment banking industry with Goldman Sachs, Bankers Trust, NatWest, and NationsBank. He read law at Nottingham University before joining Arthur Andersen & Co., where he qualified with the Institute of Chartered Accountants. Mr Wightman is chairman of the Nomination Committee.

Gregory Todd Bosch
Chief Executive Officer
Mr Bosch, 47, joined PuriCore in November 2004 as Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining PuriCore, Mr Bosch held a variety of management and leadership positions with Baxter International during his 19-year tenure. Most recently, he was Vice President and General Manager of Baxter's BioSurgery division, which experienced growth from $40 million in 1998 to more than $220 million in 2004 under his leadership. Mr Bosch had international assignments in Austria and Switzerland and he was a board member of Baxter AG. Mr Bosch received the 2006 Life Sciences CEO of the Year award from the Eastern Technology Council. Mr Bosch earned his BA from Duke University and his MBA from DePaul University. Mr Bosch is a member of the Nomination Committee.

Darren Douglas Weiss, CPA
Chief Financial Officer
Mr Weiss, 38, joined PuriCore in November 2004 as Corporate Controller, and was later named Vice President, Finance in November 2008 and in November 2009, Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director. He began his career in public accounting, including the Healthcare and Life Sciences Practice of KPMG LLP and was a senior financial analyst for McNeil Consumer Healthcare, and a financial controller for Smurfit-Stone Container Corporation. He received a BS in Accounting from Syracuse University.

Daniel Bee
President, International and UK Managing Director
Mr. Bee joined PuriCore in April 2007 as Managing Director of its UK operations, bringing 17 years of experience in medical devices and technology. Mr. Bee was formerly UK Managing Director of Orthofix, a company specializing in orthopedics, anesthesia, vascular, and neonatal products. Previously, he was UK Managing Director for Haemonetics Ltd, a medical devices company specializing in surgical, hematology, and blood transfusion delivery products; with a SAAB Bofers start-up company in the medical device market; and with Summit Medical, a private UK orthopedic and general surgical device manufacturer. He is a graduate in Business and Finance from Newcastle upon Tyne University and received post-graduate diplomas in Marketing and Company Direction.

Neil Blewitt
Vice President, International Operations & Business Development

Mr. Blewitt joined PuriCore in August 2009 following the acquisition of Labcaire Systems Ltd., bringing significant engineering and international business development experience. Mr. Blewitt joined Labcaire as Managing Director in June 2008. He was previously a Divisional Director for International Greetings plc responsible for UK and Asia operations. He served as Senior Vice President for CSM Industries, a global supplier to the semiconductor and medical industries, and was responsible for European Operations and Customers. CSM previously had acquired Molypress Ltd., where Mr. Blewitt was Managing Director, following a management buyout FROM Murex Ltd. He began his career at Johnson Matthey Group in Research and Development. Mr. Blewitt was graduated with B SC Honours from the University of Birmingham.

Tom H. Daniel
Senior Vice President/General Manager, Global Food Safety
Mr. Daniel joined PuriCore in July 2002 as Vice President of Food Safety. Prior to joining the Company, he spent 19 years in the food retail, hospitality, and service sectors. Recent positions he held in this sector include Executive VP and COO of the DSI Corporation, which provides food equipment and merchandising solutions to leading global supermarket chains, and President of Bakers Aid, a division of the Hobart Corporation, the leading equipment provider serving global food service and retail markets. He is a graduate of the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a BS in Business Administration.

Andrea ("Andi") Holtzman Drucker
Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Corporate Secretary

Ms. Drucker has served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Company Secretary since November 2006. Ms. Drucker joined PuriCore from Novavax, Inc., a U.S. publicly traded vaccine company, where she had been acting General Counsel. Ms. Drucker previously served as interim Associate General Counsel at publicly listed Auxilium Pharmaceuticals, Inc., and was Group Counsel of FMC BioPolymer, a global supplier of ingredients and excipients to the world's leading food and pharmaceutical companies. Ms. Drucker graduated with a BS from Cornell University and obtained her JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School, before beginning her legal career at the Philadelphia law firm of Ballard Spahr Andrews & Ingersoll.

Raymond F. Mannion
Vice President, Operations
Mr. Mannion joined PuriCore in August 2005 and is responsible for all U.S. and U.K. Operations. Mr. Mannion brings to PuriCore more than 25 years of experience in Operations and Product Development, beginning his career in engineering with AMP Inc., part of Tyco International Inc, where he held engineering, supervisory, and management positions. For the past 16 years, Mr. Mannion has worked for medical device startup companies. During his time at Kensey Nash Corp., the company developed and launched the Angio-Seal™, a hemostatic puncture closure device originally marketed by American Home Products. Immediately prior to joining PuriCore, he was President and Chief Operating Officer of Rheologics, Inc., a medical device company focused on blood viscosity and cardiovascular diseases. He received a BS in Industrial Engineering from Rutgers University and an MBA from Shippensburg University.

Mark Sampson, PhD
Senior Scientific Director
Dr. Sampson joined PuriCore in September 2000 and brings more than 10 years of experience as a PhD-level commercial microbiologist, focusing on pathogen research in medical device, pharmaceutical, food, and water treatment applications. He currently manages the global PuriCore microbiology team. Prior to joining PuriCore, Dr. Sampson worked as a Senior Scientist for Warwick International, a U.K. Specialty Chemicals company specializing in medical device sterilants. Dr. Sampson was graduated from the University of Aberdeen (U.K.) with an honors degree in Microbiology. He then completed a joint PhD in Microbiology/Biochemistry from the University of Aberdeen/Cambridge studying "The role of enzymes in biopesticides."
